Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal finally tied the knot on Sunday (January 24) at The Mansion House in Alibaug. After their wedding, Varun took to social media to share first pictures from their wedding. Congratulations messages poured in from his friends and industry friends as they wished the couple a lifetime of togetherness. Karan Johar, who was among the few guests invited to the intimate wedding, also penned a long emotional note for the couple on Instagram.
WHAT DID KARAN JOHAR WRITE FOR VARUN AND NATASHA?
Karan Johar, who launched Varun Dhawan with his 2012 film Student of The Year, got emotional on seeing the actor getting married to the love of his life, Natasha Dalal. The filmmaker shared two photos, one of the bride and the groom and the other of himself with Varun. Sharing the photos, he wrote, “I am filled with a multitude of emotions and memories as I write this post! I still remember meeting this kid in Goa! Long hair, big dreams in his eyes and a swag that was waiting to explode on celluloid! A few years later he was my Assistant on MNIK! I silently observed his determined sincerity and also how hilarious he can be …sometimes even unintentionally! When he faced the camera for me for the first time I developed an immediately protective feeling of love and care for him..: almost assuming the role of a parent…. (sic).”
He added, “That feeling today came alive in abundance as I saw him walk with his loved one around the holy fire of trust and commitment… my boy is all grown up and ready for this beautiful phase in his life… congratulations my darling Natasha and Varun! My blessings and love forever ….love you (sic).”
VARUN DHAWAN GETS MARRIED TO NATASHA DALAL
After days of speculation and secrets, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Alibaug. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, only 50 guests were invited to the wedding. From Bollywood, celebrities like Karan Johar, Kunal Kohli, Zoa Morani and Manish Malhotra were part of the guest list.
While media was not allowed to attend the wedding and the venue was covered off to thwart photographers from sneaking in, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal stepped out of the venue as husband and wife to pose for the shutterbugs. The couple wore matching off-white outfits for their wedding.
WHAT DID VARUN POST AFTER HIS WEDDING TO NATASHA?
An excited Varun Dhawan also took to Instagram to give the first glimpse of himself and Natasha from their wedding mandap. Sharing two photos of themselves, he wrote, “Life long love just became official (sic).”
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are reported to host a reception for their Bollywood friends on February 2.
